Yep, it’s Thursday and time for a gratitude entry.
Hmmmm….I’m thankful for…no, maybe not so much that one. Okay, let’s see, I could be thankful for….nah, not really that thankful about that one either. Sigh…
Oh, oh! I know… I’m thankful for the laughs people knowingly (and so often UNKNOWINGLY) give me! I have laughed so hard in the past three days and I don’t really know why. Some of the stuff I’ve laughed about is NOT all that funny but some of it truly IS!
I ran across an old (and I believe now deactivated) blog entry on the web about a company and an employee’s faux paus that had me literally crying. WARNING: This is a highly inappropriate (albeit funny) blog, so do NOT read it if vulgarities offend you.
I wonder if that guy is a writer for television or movies? He was FUNNY! His entry was funnier because I have felt like telling a few people this very same thing on several occasions but couldn’t quite pull it off and get a promotion out of the deal as well. The comments are just as funny.
Thank God for people with a sense of humor and those without one. Without the ying to the yang, nothing would seem funny!
I am also eternally thankful for the brief reprieve in the weather we are getting. I even have crocuses popping up all over my flower beds!
I am thankful for those people who don’t always agree with me, perhaps vehemently disagree even, but continue to speak to me.
(Truth be known, I actually am feeling a couple pangs of regret for stating a view recently that is described by some as lacking in compassion. I’d say I didn’t mean it to sound so harsh but considering the mood I was in at the time, I’m not entirely sure that would be an honest response.
)
I am thankful that time really does heal all wounds. There may be scars but there is also healing. (I’ve a few scars to prove it.
)
I am thankful that my kids share their parents love of wry humor. There’s been a lot of laughter around the house now that everyone is feeling better. Knock on wood.

Glad you are seeing crocuses Christine. Spring is on the way! Have a great day.
Oh that’s it…. I vehemently disagree… throw down like Bobby Flay
except you’re making the fudge LOL Now where’s that blog sister!!!
A Throw Down! Woohoo!! Bring on the fudge, and add a glass of vino!
Glad your family is over that bug, Christine. So far so good around here, but almost everyone I know has had that crud.
