The final presidential debate! Aren’t you just sitting on pins and needles, waiting in anticipation of tonight’s FINAL presidential debate of 2008? No?
Well, I am!
It is the final chance for McCain to grow “some” and say directly to Obama’s face the slimey nonsense he and his “unethical” running mate have been spewing of late. (Note: According the several fact checker sites, McCain does make more false statements than true ones!)
Aside from the entertainment value of seeing a hot-headed geezer possibly engage in fisty-cuffs with a fit youngish guy, there actually are some things that probably should be addressed and that I am quite certain Mr. Obama will do so quite adequately. I do hope that Bob Scheiffer holds their feet to the fire and insists they ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION! And that goes for both of those clowns. (Yes, a pet peeve.
)
Aside from politics, I am enjoying our autumn weather immensely. Cool, sometimes gray, mornings, clearing to crisp sunny afternoons. Ahhhh… No excuse for not getting some exercise, I guess.
This morning was really foggy and beautiful. As I was driving the crew to school, I thought I might try to capture the fog’s beauty on camera when I arrived back home. Unfortunately, in just 25 minutes the beauty of it was dissipating. Sigh. Well, take my word for it. It was beautiful.
I need to try and get a belated gift finished. (Yep, it’s something quilted. Nope, it’s not something wonderful. Just some quilted fleece.)
Make it a great day and practice some critical thinking!
(Joke of the day: Palin says in an interview that the Alaska report on her actions says she had not done anything unethical. Hmmm…must be like Bush, doesn’t read! ROFLOL!)
